Shipping Policy

What delivery costs, how long it takes, and what happens on the day.

This page summarises how we deliver. The full delivery terms are in section 4 of our Terms & Conditions, which apply to every order.

Where we deliver

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Some remote areas, islands and offshore addresses may carry an additional charge or a longer lead time. If that applies to your address, we will contact you before dispatch rather than surprise you at the door.

What delivery costs

The charge that applies to your order is shown at checkout before you pay. Door samples are £4.99 each and delivery is free when your order is samples only. Order a sample alongside doors or units and the order’s usual delivery charge applies.

How long it takes

Every product page shows an estimated delivery time for that item. As a guide:

  • Stocked items: 3 to 5 working days
  • Made to order: 10 to 12 working days
  • Made to measure and specialist finishes: 10 to 14 working days

Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays. Lead times start when your payment has cleared and, for made-to-measure items, once we have confirmed your specification with you. These are estimates rather than guarantees.

If your order contains items with different lead times, we will normally deliver everything together on the longest lead time. If you would rather have a split delivery, tell us and we will confirm whether it is possible and what it would cost.

Booking your delivery

We or our carrier will contact you to arrange or confirm a delivery day. Someone aged 18 or over needs to be at the address to receive and check the goods.

Please tell us in advance about anything that affects access, such as a narrow lane, restricted parking, a red route, gated access or delivery to an upper floor. Kitchen doors, panels and units are heavy and awkward, so it helps to have someone on hand to move them once they are unloaded.

If you miss the delivery

If nobody is available at the agreed time, or the goods cannot be delivered because of access problems at the address, we may have to charge the reasonable cost of a further delivery attempt. If we cannot arrange redelivery after reasonable attempts to reach you, we may end the contract and refund you, less our reasonable costs.

Checking your order

Please check your goods as soon as you reasonably can. Inspect the packaging before accepting delivery where possible, and if there is visible damage or anything missing, record it with the driver and tell us.

We ask that visible damage, missing items or incorrect items are reported within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate quickly and, where necessary, claim against the carrier. Photographs of the packaging, delivery labels and affected goods help a lot. Reporting later than 48 hours does not by itself remove or limit your statutory rights.

Storing goods before fitting

Store doors, panels and units flat, dry and indoors at normal room temperature until they are fitted. Damage caused by storing goods in a damp, unheated or newly plastered room, or by standing them on edge against a wall, is not a manufacturing fault and is not covered by the guarantee.

Delays outside our control

Severe weather, carrier failure, industrial action and supply shortages can all delay an order. If that happens we will contact you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the delay. If a delay becomes substantial, you can contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for anything you have paid for but not received.
